HELP NEEDED WITH RESEARCH
Dear DCSG Members,
I am an Infertility Counsellor who works at Concept Fertility Centre ( Perth – W.A.) and I am involved in a series of research projects with The University of W.A. investigating donor and recipients' attitudes to release of different types of information to children/adults born from donor programmes. Unlike other attitudes to donation studies, our research has a very different slant to it as we have discovered that very few research projects have actually asked children or adults who have been born with the assistance of donor, what is their attitude to donor conception and what they feel they would want to know about their donors. We are also after a national view on these issues and would like to see if differences exist across different Australian states. In the end we hope our results have the potential to guide Infertility Clinic practice and state legislation about what information is important for release when donor conceived persons request release of identifying information from Registries.
How You Can Help?
Any egg, embryo or sperm donor, recipient or person born from the assistance of donor can participate in this research by filling in an anonymous online questionnaire that takes 15 minutes to complete. Children can also participate however they must be at least 12 years of age. Parents are asked to log their child onto the website but allow their child to fill in the questionnaire without assistance.
The questionnaire which has an information sheet can be located by following the link:

Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to email me at iolanda@perthwa.com Thank you for your time in helping me with this research.
Sincerely,
Iolanda Rodino
