Victoria Silent Protest - 7th May 2012, 9th May 2012, 11th May 2012

As some of our members are unable to attend the protests on Mondays we have decided to increase the protest for this month by another 2 days.

They will be on the following days:

Monday 7th May 2012
Wednesday 9th May 2012
Friday 11th May 2012

Time: 10.30am — 12.30pm

Meet at 10:30am outside the office of VIC Attorney General Robert Clark at 121 Exhibition St, Melbourne

Greens MP Colleen Hartland MLC will be attending Friday’s protest.  

We hope you will be able to attend at least one of these protests, but if you can attend all 3 that would be wonderful and will show the Victorian Government that we are not going away. Please wear your CLAN badges!

CLAN congratulates the Baillieu Government for showing this initiative and announcing this inquiry into the abuse by churches and charity run orphanages, children’s Homes and other institutions.

Sadly children who were placed in Victorian state-run orphanages, children’s Homes, foster care and other institutions have been excluded and we are protesting that this inquiry can include the Victorian State Government.
