Videos & DVDs

To borrow from the library you need to be a member of CLAN and a member of the library. To find out about membership click here to download the CLAN brochure

We have several videos, both films and documentaries in the library for members to borrow. A CLAN member is currently watching all videos in the library and writing a synopsis on each - if you would like to help CLAN with their library and resources, any assistance would be appreciated.

These programs focus upon the treatment of wards and children in "care", where some were abused - sexually, physically and mentally - by their "carers". The film,"The Magdalena Sisters" has also helped focus attention upon the terrible conditions experienced in the 'charity' laundries where women were held against their will and forced to work. This movie (as well as others) is available to CLAN member to borrow. Click on the Email borrow request link or call CLAN direct.
