Personal stories
We encourage all our members to tell their story. Whether just to talk about your experiences with another who understands, or to make people aware of your background and personal history. In every Newsletter, members tell their stories, even just as a letter, or through poems. We publish the stories we are sent exactly as they are received, without editing or correction. Poor education was one of the legacies endured by Care Leavers and Homies.

I am writing to you as of the age magazine I am a state ward, I say I am a state ward as wonce you have been in so many Homes as I have from the age of 6 to 141/2 the night mears are still with me & will go to the grave with me, I was clasted as a run away the copes where always after me I must say thay treated me better than the people in the Homes...
