KPMG is conducting a review of support services provided to care leavers in Victoria on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). This survey of care leavers is one part of the review and aims to gather the views of care leavers.

To review the delivery of support services for those who left care between 1920 and 1989, and consider the needs of people who left care after 1989.

This review will also seek to:

  • confirm the ongoing needs of those who left care both before and after 1989;
  • identify a set of service delivery principles and functions that would characterise the most effective and appropriate service response or model to  meet these needs; and
  • identify a range of options to support the implementation of the service model.

To inform this review, KPMG is seeking the views and input from people who lived in care before and after 1989.
